At our school, we recognize that some students may want to take AP tests as a way to demonstrate their academic abilities and enhance their college applications. While we fully support students who choose this path, we also believe that the traditional AP model can be problematic, as it often encourages the superficial coverage of content rather than deep, meaningful exploration of topics that resonate with students.

Our curriculum is designed to engage students in rich, in-depth study across subjects – such as Biology, English, World History, and Calculus – which align with much of the content found on AP exams. However, for the remaining material not covered within our coursework, students have the flexibility to use their Flex Time to prepare for these exams.

To further support students who wish to take AP tests, we partner with a school where students can register to take the exams of their choice. While we do not offer AP classes, we are committed to providing the resources and guidance needed for students to succeed on AP tests, should they choose to pursue them.
